Community Options’ Golf Tournament Returns with $200K Matching Gift from Phil Lian and Joan Mueller

LAFAYETTE HILL, Pa., April 3, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Community Options, a leading national nonprofit supporting people with disabilities, is excited to announce the return of the Philip E. Lian and Joan L. Mueller Phenomenal Golf Classic. The annual charity golf tournament will take place on Monday, May 19, 2025, at the Union League Liberty Hill in Lafayette Hill, PA.

Building on the success of last year’s event, which raised $575,000, this year, Community Options Enterprises Chairman Philip Lian and Joan Mueller will generously match the first $200,000 raised.

“Year after year, Joan and I are constantly inspired by the dedication of Community Options to providing people with disabilities the opportunities to succeed,” said Philip Lian, Chairman of Community Options Enterprises. “We have seen firsthand how Community Options actively participates in the closure of institutions and helping people achieve employment. We are honored to support this event again.”

Following the tournament, guests are invited to enjoy a cocktail reception and awards dinner, where Community Options will recognize supporters and celebrate the success of the event.

“Phil and Joan have been the biggest supporters of our mission from the very beginning,” said Robert Stack, President and CEO of Community Options. “We are deeply grateful for their continued commitment, which has made a lasting impact on the lives of those we support.”
